Ontario Mortgage Tools is a free set of calculators for Ontario homeowners, home buyers and people handling their own civil court matters.
The site is run by Bridgewell Consultants, an Ontario firm that works in mortgage enforcement and civil litigation support, including power of sale matters, pleadings and court filings. The calculators reflect the rules and formulas used in that work: the Mortgages Act, the Interest Act, the Land Transfer Tax Act, Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 760 and the Rules of Civil Procedure.
Rates and rules are checked against official sources, including Ontario.ca, the City of Toronto and Ontario e-Laws. When rates change, the calculators are updated and the change is noted on the page.
